We were invited to create a new ambience and concept for Royal China Canary Wharf that fits into the contemporary life of the younger generation. To improve the circulation and flow within the main dining space, we took cues from the Chinese courtyard home in which social spaces radiate from a central core to define the main dining space, and used a raw base material palette with a simple but homely design where everyone feels calm and spacious.
